Painting the walls on the ground floor
The recently painted Visitor Centre is our
temporary "mess" room
Cutting & fitting plasterboard to the first floor

Our colleagues
from Oxenhall, the "Wrinklies", help clean the floor blocks
Tree planting
in February. The large yew replaces the one which grew in the garden
of the Lock keeper's cottage.

In May we opened the Visitor Centre and Tearooms.
Here you see the magnificent map showing the route of the canal and
the Leadon Valley part of it in greater detail.
There are some
fascinating items in the display case flanked by a variety of
historic H&G Canal Company documents.

The end of the year saw us busy on the letting
bedrooms, fitting skirting and coving, finishing doors and building
a false ceiling in the corridor.
