Restoration FUND Members Annual Visit 2009
At Llanthony Lock and Weir the Restoration FUND Members were struck by the enormous amount of clearance already done, all by volunteers, and were left in no doubt the lock there is not only a very expensive project but a long, long term one too. But they also saw its great potential for the Trust in its unique position so close to the newly developed Gloucester Quays.
These sites need much more money to permit volunteers to get on with the work. Other places along the canal are just as needy.
