All
the achievements of the Trust are thanks to volunteers. The most obvious way to help is at
the restoration sites but there are many other activities going on behind the scenes that
make the restoration work possible. In fact 5 or 6 hours work need to be put in behind the
scenes for every hour of actual restoration.
If you can drive an
excavator or a dumper, lay a brick or hammer a nail you would be a valuable member of the
team. If you're a chef, a first aider or good with a pen, we'll find you a way to help. It
does not matter if you have no particular skill because each skilled worker needs a
"mate" or two to help them operate. Tea makers, fetchers and carriers are
valuable too!
If you would like to help
us in any way to achieve our long term goal, here's what to do: |

Our restoration work at
Over will require all sorts of building materials such as bricks, stone, copings, timber,
nails, screws etc.
We have salvaged a good deal from the demolished hospital but if you have access to any
materials which you could let us have we would be very grateful.
If you have, please contact any of the above numbers. |

|
If you have access to a small lorry we
could borrow, particularly at weekends, it would help us enormously. |
|
Learn to drive
our equipment!
We have all kinds of excavator
and dumper drivers!
If you fancy learning to drive our equipment, we'll even train you - free!
|
|
|
|

You'll be glad of a pair of
wellies! |
We have to insist that hard
hats and work boots are worn on our restoration sites. This is so that we comply with
safety legislation and, with deep excavations and earth moving equipment around, it's
also common sense.
We can supply both boots and hard hats at a discounted price to volunteers. |

Live too far
away?
Maybe you live too far away to help with
restoration. You can still help by:
becoming a member
buying from the merchandise page
making a donation, sponsoring us or even advertising
on
this web site
or...see below for more possibilities

IWA / WRG
Stamp Bank
A way to boost our funds from the comfort of
your armchair is by saving any used postage stamps. Just tear off the corner of the
envelope (don't steam the stamp off!), save them up and send them to us.
We pass them on to the IWA/WRG Stamp Bank who have arrangements to turn them into
cash!
Send your stamps to:
Lloyd Jones
19, Newton Close
Ledbury
Herefordshire
HR8 2XG
Telephone: 01531 635830
The same arrangements apply for:
postcards (please don't
take the stamp off)
fuel coupons
trading stamps
used telephone cards
expired fuel coupon/collector
offers
unwanted
CDs
In fact, if you have any spare tokens,
points, trading stamps etc., please contact us - we can probably turn them into money for
the Trust.
